Capacity Building Services:

After conducting needs assessment surveys, capacity building training are offered at three levels.

• Capacity Building of the CMCs

Credit Management Committees (CMCs) are enabled, through formal and informal capacity building training, to identify profitable businesses and potential Entrepreneurs, assessing their needs, and coordinating with them to run their enterprises in more effective and profitable manner.

• Capacity Building of the Entrepreneurs

Business Development Services (BDS) are provided to the Entrepreneurs. These include enhancement of technical, marketing and business improvement skills.

• Demand based Services

In addition to catering for the needs of CMC associated Entrepreneurs, IRDS also provides services for the strengthening and effectiveness of MSEs operating independently in the market. These tailor-made services are provided on the request of NGOs, Development Projects and Donor Agencies. Institutional strengthening of the Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs) is also part of IRDS mandate.
